About Us
Redston Tech Limited is a small family-run business in Thornbury, near Bristol. We repair and refurbish small consumer electronics, mainly DAB radios and headphones, and post them back to customers anywhere in the UK.
We've also taken on one-off jobs well outside that, from vintage valve radios to a cricket scoreboard (see our repair examples).
What we repair
Pure Evoke (1S/2S/Mio/D4/D6), Pure Move R3/2500, Roberts SportsDAB radios and the popular Sony XDR-P1-DPB DAB handheld. We've replaced over 100 Pure Evoke OLED displays. We also replace batteries, power switches, charge ports and more. For headphones, we make our own hinge supports, swivels and sliders for Audio-Technica ATH-M40x/M50x and Beyerdynamic DT770/DT990 Pro and Pro X variants.
How we work
As well as fixing electronics, we look for practical solutions to other common problems, such as broken plastics and worn-looking finishes. Where a manufacturer no longer supplies a part, we make our own using 3D printing, 3D scanning, aluminium milling and resin casting.
Our main aim is to stop electronic items being thrown away when they could give many more years of service. If you think we might be able to fix something, send us a message using the contact form or email

Buying from us
All our listings are written by people, not generated by AI, so you get a better idea of what you're buying. We also sell on eBay and Etsy, where you can check our feedback. This site is a cheaper alternative, because there are significantly reduced platform fees.
Getting in touch
We usually reply within an hour between 8am and 5pm UK time. Emails sometimes don't get through from this website, so if you haven't heard back, message us on eBay or Etsy or on WhatsApp.
We currently service customers in the UK only, unless by special request.
